Best Affiliate Network for Beginners (2026)
WarriorPlus, JVZoo, ClickBank and Digistore24 compared on the things that decide whether you actually get paid.
If you are new to affiliate marketing, picking the best affiliate network for beginners is confusing because every network says it is easy, free and full of high commissions. The differences that matter are boring ones: how long your money is held, how many sales you need before you can withdraw, what happens to your commission when a customer asks for a refund, and whether you need a vendor’s approval before you can promote anything. This guide compares four networks on exactly those points, using each network’s own help pages (checked on September 21, 2026).
Best affiliate network for beginners: side-by-side comparison
Everything in this table comes from the network’s own documentation. “Vendor” means the person who sells the product; affiliates promote it and earn a commission.
| WarriorPlus | JVZoo | ClickBank | Digistore24 | |
| Cost to join as affiliate | Free account | Free (per its FAQ) | No upfront investment | Not stated in the getting-started guide |
| Approval to promote | Per offer, decided by each vendor | FAQ describes browsing offers; check each listing | Start promoting right away, per ClickBank’s guide | Some vendors accept affiliates manually |
| How you get paid | Wallet, then withdraw to PayPal, Stripe, Payoneer or bank | JVZooPay to Payoneer, Trolley or Wise | Direct deposit, check or Payoneer | Scheduled payouts (see below) |
| Timing | Withdrawal needs 5 unique buyers first | Every 3 days (top tier) to every 21 days (new accounts) | Weekly or biweekly, paid on Fridays | 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th, with minimums |
| Refund handling | Set by the vendor | 30-day refund period built into payouts | 60 days by default; sellers can set 30 to 364 | Earnings withdrawn on refund or chargeback |
WarriorPlus: good for software launches, but read the withdrawal rule
WarriorPlus states that creating an account is free. Its affiliate guide says that promoting a vendor’s product requires approval from that specific vendor, and that WarriorPlus itself does not approve “affiliate requests”. Commissions are paid only when a sale completes through your link, and the credit goes to the last affiliate link the customer clicked. Earnings land in your WarriorPlus Wallet first, and can be withdrawn to a connected PayPal, Stripe, Payoneer or bank account.
The rule beginners miss: WarriorPlus states that affiliates need a minimum of five unique buyers before withdrawals are permitted, and that payouts may be delayed up to 180 days if that is not met. If you have never made a sale, that is worth knowing before you build a plan around fast cash. We walk through the request process in our guide on how to get approved as a WarriorPlus affiliate.
Free account. Many launch-style offers for marketing tools. Clear request workflow.
Per-offer vendor approval. Five-unique-buyer minimum before withdrawals. Commission rates are entirely up to each vendor.
JVZoo: payout speed depends on your account level
JVZoo’s FAQ says that for affiliates the platform is free, with no monthly membership. Commissions are paid through JVZooPay to Payoneer, Trolley or Wise. Some third-party comparison articles still describe PayPal payouts, so check what your own dashboard offers before you plan around it. Release timing depends on your JVZooPay level: the FAQ describes top-tier Diamond affiliates being paid every 3 days, while newer accounts wait 21 days. Payouts account for a 30-day refund period, and moving up a tier depends on account age, sales volume and keeping refund rates low.
For a beginner, that means your first payouts will sit at the slow end of the range. The FAQ describes affiliates browsing and selecting offers, but individual vendors can set their own rules, so read each product listing rather than assuming you can promote it.
Free for affiliates. Transparent tier system. Payout speed improves as you build a track record.
New accounts start at the slowest payout schedule. Payment methods may differ from what older guides say.
ClickBank: the clearest rules on refunds and payouts
ClickBank’s own guide says becoming an affiliate requires no upfront investment and that you can start promoting products immediately, using tracking links it calls HopLinks. Its marketplace lists digital products such as ebooks, courses and software as well as physical products. The same guide describes revenue-share commissions ranging from 10% to 75% or more, or flat cost-per-action (CPA) commissions, and payouts weekly or biweekly by direct deposit, check or Payoneer once you pass a minimum threshold that ClickBank says can be as low as $10. If you want a free, ready-made way to start on ClickBank, see our ClickBank Profit Club review. Its support pages add that payments go out on Fridays, that weekly payouts are available to direct-deposit users, and that no payment is issued for a period in which you have not met the threshold.
The refund rules deserve a close read. ClickBank’s default refund window is 60 days, and sellers can set it anywhere from 30 to 364 days. If you earned a revenue-share commission on a sale that is later refunded or charged back, that commission is revoked. If you earned a CPA commission, the amount you were paid is not returned. ClickBank also holds back part of affiliate funds as a “return allowance” during the refund window.
ClickBank shows a “gravity” score, which it describes as an indicator of how many affiliates have made sales recently. Treat it as a popularity signal, not a quality guarantee: a crowded product means more competition for the same buyers.
Well-documented payout and refund policies. No upfront cost. Both revenue-share and CPA offers exist.
Refund windows can be long, so earnings stay provisional. Product quality varies widely, so you must vet each offer yourself.
Digistore24: a fixed payout calendar and a 180-day cookie
Digistore24’s help center says tracking uses an HTTP cookie that can attribute a sale to you for up to 180 days, and that some vendors choose to accept affiliates manually. It also warns against using link shorteners such as bit.ly for your promolink because they can break tracking. Payouts run on four dates each month: the 7th with a €50 minimum, and the 14th, 21st and 28th with a €200 minimum each; international transfers have a higher threshold of 250. Earnings are subject to a holding structure: 90% is paid after 14 days and the remaining 10% after 60 days, which may vary for higher-priced products. If a customer is refunded, the earnings are withdrawn, and the dashboard figures can decrease at any time.
Predictable payout dates. Long tracking window. Clear guidance on which product metrics to check.
Minimum payout amounts can take a new affiliate a while to reach. Manual vendor approval on some offers.
A simple example of why refund rules matter
This is a hypothetical illustration, not a result anyone achieved. Imagine a $40 product with a 50% revenue-share commission. Your commission is $20. On a network that revokes revenue-share commissions after refunds, a refund inside the window turns that $20 into $0. On a flat CPA offer, the payout you received stays with you. That is why the refund window, the vendor’s refund rate and your commission type matter more than a headline “up to 75%” number.
Five questions to ask before you pick one
- What will I promote? Marketing software and online-business tools are common on WarriorPlus and JVZoo, while ClickBank also lists other digital and physical products. Start from your audience, not from the network.
- How long can I wait for money? Compare the payout timing and minimums above with your patience and budget.
- Am I willing to send approval requests? If not, look for offers you can promote without manual vendor approval.
- How high is the refund rate? Check it on the offer page before you write a single word. Our guide on how to choose the best WarriorPlus products covers red flags to look for.
- Do I have a place to send traffic? A network account without a site, list or channel earns nothing. See our best free email marketing tools for a low-cost way to start a list.
FAQ
Q: Which network pays the fastest?
It depends on your account. JVZoo’s top tier is described as every 3 days, ClickBank pays weekly or biweekly on Fridays, and Digistore24 pays on four fixed dates. New affiliates on any network should expect delays and minimums.
Q: Do I need a website?
You need some way to reach buyers, such as a website, an email list or a social channel. Read how affiliate marketing actually works for the full picture.
Q: Can I use more than one network?
Yes, and many affiliates do. Beginners usually do better learning one network’s rules, reports and refund behavior first.
Q: Is any of this guaranteed to make money?
No. Commission rates, approvals and refund rules are set by vendors and networks, and nothing here predicts income.
Final verdict
If you want the simplest starting point with the most clearly written payout and refund rules, ClickBank is the easiest of the four to understand from its own documentation. If your niche is software and online-business tools, WarriorPlus and JVZoo are where many of those launches are listed, so learning the basics in our What Is WarriorPlus? beginner’s guide is a good next step. Digistore24 suits people who prefer a fixed payout calendar. Whichever you choose, read the refund and withdrawal rules first, promote only products you have checked, and disclose your affiliate relationships.
